BISHOP JOHN DAVIS

Our Pastor

Bishop John Davis is the Pastor of Little Mount Zion Holy Church, Inc. White Plains, NY. In March 1994 the late Bishop Theophilus A. Sobers, founder of Fireside Pentecostal Assembly, Inc., New York City, and builder of Little Mount Zion Holy Church, Inc. ordained and appointed Bishop Davis his assistant over these great works. On October 25, 1998 Little Mount Zion Holy Church installed Elder John Davis as their Pastor.

Prior to being elevated to Pastor of Little Mt. Zion Holy Church, he served in various capacities of the church. These posts included superintendent of the Sunday school, Chairman Board of Deacons, member of the Board of Trustee, finance committee, church accountant, church’s musician and choir director.

Bishop Davis completed his Bible and Theological Studies at Manhattan Bible Institute, New York City and The Bethel Bible Institute, Long Island, New York.

 

Bishop John Davis retired on January 3, 2001 to dedicate full time service to the Lord after over 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service. His position prior to retiring was Senior Plant Manager of the Westchester Performance Cluster, with Processing and Distribution, locations in White Plains and Newburgh, New York. These two plants services 350 associated post offices throughout eleven counties.

He also served his community as secretary on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Westchester and Putnam County chapter and was a member of the Board o Directors of Westchester Non-profit Loan Fund.
